ABOUT THE STORE
The Ménage Gallery in Gloucester, MA is a unique home furnishings store owned by Ed Soucy, self-taught artist and woodworker. Ed has been working with wood for over seventy years, specializing in one-of-a-kind designs and functional art, preferring to create pieces without stains or colorings in order to let the true beauty of his materials come through.
While making art pieces that come to him in his dreams, Ed is also inspired by the many people that come through his 8700 square foot store. In addition to his larger pieces of furniture, he has made a stunning array of mirrors and boxes that fit the needs of the clients he works with, ensuring that they receive a beautiful piece of artwork that is destined to become a family heirloom. The Ménage Gallery also carries a wide range of products, all handmade by artisan friends, so customers are sure to find something that really speaks to them.
Although he has been tempted many times to move his work to larger cities, Ed is dedicated to the North Shore of Massachusetts where he was born and raised. This allows Ed to continue to be available to his valued customers and friends through The Ménage Gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. Stop by to see his work and make a connection soon! In the meantime, check out a glimpse of the space in the Gallery page.
